In terms of an album, I havnt heard anything near as good as the Nationals high violet since its release. That band are going from strength to strength and are unreal live. Sigur Ros have just thrown out a live set but i think its premature. Id much rather see them release new material, although i believe most of the band members, bar jonsi of course, are settling down and having kids. So they probably havnt got time to record and jonsi has been going it alone anyway!

Muse said new material would be out in 2012 which will be something to look forward to!

I doubt it.

Yeah i also never understood the hype around them, as Frankie Boyle once said on Never Mind the Buzzcocks - "Muse were recently awarded the title of best live band in the world, which is ironic as most of us would rather see them dead

nice use of hyperbole! muse have always attracted a polarity of opinions. and id rather have it that way. from my experience at numerous muse gigs you tend to find the people that attend them usually know the music, although since the last album that may change. i cant really say that for other big bands i like that attract people 'who can say they were just there'.

their sound is changing and seems to be moving away from the loudness of 'origin' and 'absolution' but for me they are the ultimate live act in that they are better live live than on record. and bellamy obviously has the lot as a front man and can even add being classically trained as a pianist among his arsenal.

these, mine included, 'this band are deadly', 'this band are sh**e' posts are not much use anyway! MUSE are my favourite band so im biased.

I've never seen them live but having heard their records I doubt they could be worse.
