No came on as a sub! Great impact looking at the last few minutes on Twitter.
Always good to beat Meath at any level
It was close enough against Meath last year, but that also lost to Wicklow- so a poor year. This looks much better already.
Good win and composure from the young Dubs tonight. Evening marred by the racist remarks made by the loud gobshite in the church end towards a child from the opposition. Disgusting.
Swan carrying a knock? Would have expected him to start.
Swan didn’t look like he was carrying a knock, made a huge impact when introduced and was unlucky not to get a penalty too. The first half was crying out for him, needed a bigger man in ff. Murray looked much better out the field and linked v well with defense in the second half. Senan forker was very good for Dublin at 6. Went off with ten mins to go after getting sick a few times, he put in some shift to be fair to him. Meath also took 14 off who was one of their better players then put him back on towards the end, very strange.
That’s terrible, takes a lot of the shine off a good win.
Edit - actually if anyone has any video of that they should go to the guards with it. I know it’s time consuming and a pain, but it’s important it’s done.
Saving him for hurling?
Conor Murray who started last year didn’t even make the bench tonight, very strange. Good display, although we got turned over quite s bit and should have won by more.
Don’t know where to put this but after losing by 70 points to Wexford a few years ago this is a step in the right direction for Kilkenny
Just because a player has started the year before does not mean they will have a place on the team the next year.
Hoping he’s focusing on the hurling
So is Luke Swan the new underage duel-star in the Dublin ranks?
You are talking about a very special talent. He should have started.
One of them😉
Serious hurler anyway
Is Conor Murray even apart of the panel? Maybe he’s just concentrating on hurling this year.
Dj Carey over the Kilkenny minor fballers, has had them since u14 I tink. Fair play to him.
