Is this U17 or U18 ?

#4

It’s U18.

Only U17 at county level.

#5

U18 as mentioned by @Cotsy. There’s no division 4 as per gradings sent out a couple of weeks ago.

#6

there are 2 division 4 N & S on the second page of the gradings.

#7

My bad, must not have scrolled down when I was looking at gradings

#8

Any idea who St Anthony’s are?

#9

St Anthonys seem to now be St Pauls, home games fixed for Clontarf Road so assume Scoil Ui Chonaill but no idea who the other club is

#10

Scoil Ui Chonail and O’Tooles I believe

#11

Thomas Davis beat St Judes in A Championship yesterday morning

#12

Crokes beat Vins by about 8. Odd game. Both sides far better against the wind. We were up by three at half time having played against a strong breeze but they were much the better team in the second half. They’ll be very hard to beat.

#13

Cuala 2-9 Ballyboden 3-13 cracking game of football

#14

Vins 0-14, Crokes 2-12. Both teams played better against a pretty strong breeze. Crokes midfield very strong and dominated second half. Their first goal early in the second half put them on the front foot and despite Vins fighting back to within 2 points late in the game, overall Crokes were the better side.

#15

Does anyone know what happens in minor championship if teams finish on same points ? Point difference or head to head ?

#16

If 2 teams finish level on points them the head to head result will be used first.

If more than 2 teams then it’s points difference but only the scores from the games involving the tied teams are used

#17

Makes sense, thanks for that.

#18

Respectable result given that Vins next year are seen as more likely contenders. Also against clear favorites for the title. I think KC are unbeaten all year.
At this level, being competitive year in year better in long run rather than once off victory.
