Super 8 Group 1

#41

Great goal by Flynn but that aside Kildare are brutal

#42

Really strange atmosphere here. Can hear the players talking. 30k apparently expected for both games. Tragic

#43

Wonder how much traveled up from Kildare .

#44

Not much by the looks and sounds of it

#45

The GAA are gobshites a lot of the time. They might as well have both teams wearing black. Tools.

#46

Hard to believe , wonder are they boycotting CP.

#47

They’ve being boycotting football for ten years now

#48

Youd think after the mayo game & actually getting into the super 8s , the fans would get behind them with greater support .

#49

Rory began best keeper me hole, not a patch on Stevie from knockouts.

Kildare came to play today may not win but won’t roll over.

#50

Monaghan ahead by 2 at HT. Two poor sides truth being told but Monaghan look better. Still going with my prematch prediction of Farney by 6

#51

It’s entertaining enough. Monaghan a little more economical. Karl O’Connell is a fine player with great pace coming from half back. He scored two great points as well. Huge opportunity for the Farney with the Keepers coming to Clones next week.

#52

Will there be 20k at today’s games?

#53

Not the worst game of football by any means .
The rain certainly isn’t helping things but very little between them . Could see Kerry & Galway dispatching either of these with a bit to spare .

#54

Your man on the telly said 30,000

#55

Why do people give out about Dublin fans owning the hill when 4 of the supposed big 8 are playing here today and there’s about 50 of them on the hill?

#56

Ger Canning made the exact same remark last night.

#57

Ger Canning is beyond a gobshite.

#58

Kerry maybe but surely it’s a bit soon to be talking about Galway in those terms? They have it all to prove at this stage of the championship, and we’ve seen how the other Connacht teams have fared recently so you have to put the provincial win into context.

#59

… to put it mildly.

#60

Great finish. Flynn is a class act.
