Adult LGFA Club Games 2023

If the last few years are any guide unlikely to see them which is a shame - bye-laws say that clubs can have for two last games I think. Calendar looks heavily front loaded for league but then Championship jammed together in August September

Two interesting groups, I think group B Na Fianna and Davis would be favourites to come out of it. Hard to know where Fox Cab are though.

Group A Crokes and Syls I think, that would be same 4 semi finalists as last year but Clontarf and Boden will be right there aswell

Senior Championship kicks off Wednesday.

What predictions for top two in each group?

Boden seemed to have improved alright but had a decent league last year as-well and fell off a cliff come Championship, that group is tough one to call for the second spot, syls, clontarf and Boden will All fancy their chances.

Other group id fancy Na Fianna and either Davis or Fox cab for the second spot, have to be favourites, can’t see Brigids or Cuala Without Dunne troubling them.

Inter championship should be very competitive aswell, lot of solid teams I’m it

Boden vs Sylvesters and TD vs NaFianna the standout games.

A Boden win would keep them well in the mix.

Yeah you would expect Crokes and Fox Cab to win this week. The other two are tough to call and will have big implications on the groups.

Syls beat boden out there comfortably last year so fancy them to win again this year. Na Fianna maybe edge Davis but will be tight.

Just looking at the Intermediate results from the first round.

A lot of one sided games. Fingallians hit 7-14 against Clann Mhuire. Clanna Gael Fontenoy won by 4 goals over Skerries. Maurs won by double digits over Parnells as well. The only close game saw last year's Junior champs O'Dwyers defeat Lucan by a point 2-16 - 3-12. Lucan had AI Winner Abby Shiels line out in goal and fellow Dublin panel member Sinead Daly hit 2-7.

Na Fianna gave Thomas Davis a right hiding .

Crokes gave Castleknock a bit of a beating

Yeah amazed Davis were so far off the pace. I was wrong about Syls aswell, Boden we’re out of sight with 10 mins to go but syls almost pulled it back
