The Laois player is Evan o’Carroll. Plays for crettyard in Laois. One of the brighter stars in the county. Also heard cuala looking for him to play too.

Clancy had a viral illness. Should be fine next day.

The Laois player is Evan o’Carroll
His girlfriend, an inter county player, joined Crokes this year

Injured & not clear if he’ll be back for Leinster final.

I read online match report yday eve saying he was injured & doubt for the final. Obviously shouldn’t believe what I read in the media!!
-
Not in Theo-ry…
-
Final could be moved if Naas win their hurling this weekend https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.iris…ed-31495106.amp

It is some achievement by Naas. County champions in football, hurling and Camogie. Especially in a county not at hurling’s top table. Slaughtneil too have been fantastic in all codes
-
When you are a big club and get your structures right - especially underage - you will take some stopping. Naas seem to have their structures right - even if there was some managerial shenanigans in recent times.
-
They haven’t won any match of significance in Leinster up to now do I guess the next few weeks will be an indicator on where they sit in both codes
Naas is the only GAA club in what is a very big town I think so they certainly have the playing numbers -

Naas is the only GAA club in what is a very big town I think so they certainly have the playing numbersAm Naas club member & as highlighted my young lad hurls with them. Naas SH got to Leinster semi final last year and were as close as anyone got to beating Ballyhale. Lost by 5 in the end I think having been ahead in the second half.
Naas SH team have won 5 county championships in a row, have won last 4 minor championships and won intermediate this year & last year it ain’t because its the only big club in the town. They’ve great structures, great coaching & a passion for hurling across the club! And as you see across the GAA world success begets success!
There are in fact a number of clubs around Naas locality but none have any great interest in hurling. Hurling interest is strong in other big clubs such as Maynooth & Celbridge and couple of the smaller traditional clubs such as Ardclough & Coill Dubh. That’s it realky. No hurling of note in South Kildare which is huge area albeit some clubs there are trying hard to develop it.

You lost by 12 in the Leinster semi final my good friend . Kilmacud lost by 3 in the Leinster final.
As I say, Naas have to take a scalp . Else they are just Kildare champions, nothing more -

My bad! Memory going awry! Naas were close if not ahead though at 3/4 stage. Gave Ballyhale a good fright!
Think NaF game will be close. NaF favorites but not by much particularly with Donal Burke missing. -
Hill16blues I wouldn’t be discouraged by the negative comments. Naas have done fantastically well as a club; no Dublin club had done much in Leinster till Cuala and their fantastic run, so your performances should be considered in that context. More power to your elbow; I won’t be supporting Naas against any Dublin club but would wish you well with the efforts which are clearly paying dividends. Ádh mór!!

Nothing negative posted at all . Just commented that they need to take a scalp to be considered like a slaughneil of the last decade - that’s the truth

Wasn’t taking it as a negative comment. However don’t agree they have to take a scalp for any reason other than it gets the team to a Leinster final which would be great achievement for all involved. It’s a young team with a lot of good young players coming through.
Same as for NaF if they lose it’ll be disappointing but it’s been a great season. And the Leinster club football final is still to come. -
