John Meyler taking on the Cork Minors next year
I see Dublin South Colleges were beaten last weekend by Laois combined schools 3:17 to 1:18, article below behind a pay wall
Offaly combined schools won fairly handy vs North. 4-20 to 2-11.
Seems the changes at minor have weakened the combined teams, also Fintans and Eoin lads missing probably doesn’t help.

I think we’ll be decent enough at minor this year anyway.
North squad missing a good few lads yesterday too. That's Offaly as a combined schools county, we are North, South, Fintans and Col Eoin.
Offaly schools didn't have any Colaiste Naomh Cormac lads i think . They didn't have Screeney on that Offaly schools team anyway
Dont tell me Screeney is still in school

Cistercian Roscrea tradionally a rugby school?
Cistercian Roscrea tradionally a rugby school?
Yes they've been in 3 senior cups i recent memory . They'd have plenty of hurlers . Joe Cannings nephew Jack went there . He won a minor All Ireland for Galway
Was it not always a hurling & rugby school?
Was it not always a hurling & rugby school?
Ah probably not really a hurling school. Lads wouldn't go there boarding for hurling like a Flannans or Kierans traditionally. Lots of Tipp lads would have gone to Flannans. But lads would go to Roscrea boarding for Rugby
