Nope, it belongs to them. A very, very clear majority support remaining linked to the UK. Similarly a very, very clear majority are pro-EU.

Ceuta and Melilla want to stay part of Spain, not Morocco.

The Channel Islands want to remain linked to the British Crown, not France.

We need to stop projecting our Irish history and unique geopolitical circumstances on to every other dispute.

I wouldn't wonder too hard over why the UK, Great Britain, England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland compete as they do. If we wonder too hard, other countries might take issue at our island of Ireland competing as one entity in nearly every international sport.

Think it’s Historical reasons due to them being half of the members of the international board that set the rules before fifa were formed.

It is because technically international football is between football associations not countries, so any FA can look to compete.

Norway have a few good players playing at a good level. Ostigard at Napoli , Ryerson at Dortmund as well the 2 superstars mentioned. Really should be qualifying for the euros at least.
