But they will have bought up half the world, so....... Firesale back? Can't be that simple. More likely huge negative impact.

Fanning clearly trying to stay relevant, be 'real', and generate publicity. He's always been that way really. He's also always been somebody who doesn't really like artists who have a troubled life. Probably more that they didn't suck up to him.

Hi,
I spotted this article on The Journal:
A major tax report has caused ructions in government, but what did it actually say?

There's not that many in it to be fair. Bizarre. I don't ever remember a tornado in Ireland? We had one in Atlanta some years ago that left a swath of destruction.
Fairly rare but they do happen. However to get one in winter (much more typically a spring and summer thing), as strong as that, and down one of the least populated parts of the country, and still manage to hit a built-up spot, that's quite freakish. Plus that somebody got it on film, as it probably only lasted on the ground maybe 30 seconds to a minute.

America has nothing to do with our black hole of a health system
That’s beyond a reach
Agreed. Up to a point. The push towards private health insurance defo does. Is there much private HI used in Continental Europe? I suppose the difference anyway in Ireland is they've created the conditions whereby PHI is a virtual essential necessity. And lots of Irish people head over to other countries to get stuff done.

Running away from Liam
There will always be a few weeks in every spring into summer where they are "looking like it's their year". Does it remind us of any other county team in the last 25 years? At least our football famine ended after 16 years. They are 18 years going into 19, with 3 wins in the last 33 years.
Their previous longest famine was 1905-19, and then 54-66. Dublin footballers had gaps of 12 years 83-95, and 11 from 63-74, and the longest, 19 years, from 1923 to 1942, and another 16 year gap from 42-58. In the more modderrin era our worst run was 83-2011, two All-Irelands in 28 years. 29 if you include 2012. Or 3 All Irelands in 34 years from 78-2011. Very similar to Cork hurlers currently.

I'm hoping it's not that! The Yanks only ever do what suits them. I thought they were more worried about China/Taiwan than Russia/Ukraine but we probably know little of what is going on behind the scenes?
It's almost always deflected to some other cause, issue, culpability. That's the thing. And if you try to point it out you get accused of being anti-US and trying to paint the US as great satans whilst letting China off or whatever. Which entirely misses the point.

Health insurance is becoming a fact of life in Ireland. It's not a reality I agree with.
Little America, 53rd state. Ask yourself what drives such policy and practice, who influences it, who benefits most, overall, who's connected to and finances major insurance companies, pharma, developers etc etc. Follow the money. Think about how all this has cone to pass since the early 90s. What else came to be dominant in Ireland since then? Apart from the Dubs. And Supermacs.
Hint, they've saved us from being an unemployment & economic backwoods wasteland and they came with no real detrimental strings attached. Apparently. Of course our incredibly remote location in the world was to blame, I read. On the doorstep of the world's biggest marketplace and a few hours from the global superpower. English-speaking probably an awful draw-back too.

As Biden said, the next step will be Russia in Estonia. Then it will be too late and there will be American troops on the ground. The EU may not have a stockpile but it needs to ramp up production like never before. The Russkies smell blood in the water...
Ever wonder if the US actually wants an excuse to bring in troops, despite all their protestations au contraire over the years? It's what they've always done, and maintains essential presence at least in the most strategic and economically advantageous places of the world.
Lads who go on about Europe not being strong enough seem to have zero concept of the US role in deliberately maintaining and fostering that in the past century for their own interests. Of course the dominant media narratives, which we have learned are not a fair reflection of reality, go a long way towards prompting and maintaining and deflecting. As they do. As they are doing for the Irish Govt regarding the social and anti-social issues that came to a head with the recent riots.

The EU or the vast majority have by now condemned Israel
Sssssh, don't be trying to stop Daller keeping up his post-quota, he's never posted as much in his life before this. He's up for Most Poster of The Month on Ressers with 85% of them reminding everyone three times a day that EUrsula is very bad.

There's a difference between emergency and non emergency public treatment in my experience. The above is valid, and although its little comfort to the livelihood of the unfortunate its not deemed an emergency. I busted my back twice before I was 21 and if the old man didn't pay out for the 1st surgery I'd have been left waiting years. The neuro surgeon basically said get insured in case it goes again, and it did and the insurance covered it. It's been fine since but I'll always need insurance. The HSE is very good for life threatening illnesses in my experience.
For non elective surgery in Ireland you need insurance.
Grand if you can afford insurance, alot of people can't, and those that pay it can often end up in debt or working ever longer hours to keep it going.
Or it lapses and is then a waste.

Mad result, Eintracht coming off two terrible results the past week, lost against a 3rd league team in the cup during the week.
We did beat the Gloops 5-1 in 2019 as well though - ultimate diva team! 😀

The result based ion a straw poll?
Away with you! Manager danger

For all the praise Howe gets he reminds me of Mark Hughes at City….it’s only a matter of time before city move onto someone bigger and better.
Vialli at Chelski? Or was it somebody else before or after him?
