Peregrines up aswell?

No they were in this league last year

Had 1 in 11 also, must have folded. D11 n will be a basket case this year if all teams don’t field

22 points will win this league, seriously competitive this year

Raheny early favourites if they keep their championship winning team together?

Yes i know league and championship are different :upside_down_face:

Imagine Castleknock should be strong . Junior 5 finalists in 2021 and have plenty of underage talent coming through which pushes other players down the divisons

All 4 promoted teams will be very strong also

Looks like it’s going to be very, very competitive. Thankfully got a home game first up against Brendan’s. Won’t be easy. We got murdered out in Lusk in our first game in Div 11 last year so hopefully we can be a bit more organised this time around. Good luck to all the teams and hopefully we get away on the 19th and won’t be a wash-out of a weekend like it typically is for the first round of fixtures :joy::joy:

Balbriggan the only place with access to a full size astro i think too. We beat Raheny the first game last year but will need to be at our best this year if Raheny have their championship winning team out. Looking forward to getting going

Any predictions for the weekend? My predictions below. I’ll leave our own game out. Complete shot in the dark but going off form from last year.

Erins Isle
Fingallians
Garristown
RT Lusk
Margarets
Peregrines
Whitehall

Agree with most except have Naomh Mearnog and Fingal Ravens picking up wins. O Dwyers to give Raheny a surprise also!

  4. Castleknock D
  5. O’Dwyers B

I’d have Fingallians and Raheny 1 and 2. Not sure which way. Margarets beaten championship finalists last year and unbeaten in Div11. I’d expect Garristown to be competitive coming off their 1st teams success last year. I don’t think anyone will go unbeaten in this division anyway

That’s a strange one. Especially after a strong year last year

Doubt they’ll be the last, have heard of a good few clubs who are struggling for numbers already, a lot of younger lads off to warmer climates and a lot of older lads, mid to late 20s not committing due to work and family, can see it in my own club, numbers way down

Mid to late 20s :open_mouth: jaysus I’d love to be that age again having the whole season ahead of me. Different times
