Adult Hurling League 2 (AHL 2) 2023

Apparently no ref could be assigned to Whitehall v Ballinteer after the original one pulled out as he was unavailable. Challenge match was played. Not great.

Remember the injury happening alright, i was hoping he might be back from it.

If they are going to do a weekly roundup they should at least include all games taking place, not a word on TD Isles.

Our game was missed out in the football round up, but it happens , id rather have 90% coverage than none at all

That’s cause you’re a Hurling Club :fist_left:

True enough but club PRO’s more than happy to help with stuff like this, might as well utilize them to cover all games in the higher leagues.

Do countyboard require a club member to write in a report of game etc?

Not that I know of. Not sure what way they are doing it.

Anyone see the Raheny game? If so how did they play

If I was to give you an exact report I would get the usual sneering on here.It was a good game and could have gone either way as Setanta had a free on the right side which went over the bar and was the last puck of the game.Raheny full forward an excellent player but someone should have a chat with a young defender who spent the game wrapping his two arms around his opponent even when the ball was at the other end of the pitch.Watching too many soccer corners? One of the two Setanta lads who didn’t play last year because of cruciate injuries made his return at the end of the game but was very, very sore and the other lad hopes to be back in July.Unfortunately we lost two defenders early in the first half and had to use two forwads to replace them.I thought that last year’s Raheny team were better but it was the first match of the season and I’m sure that they will improve.
