What teams to have a look out for in AHL5 this year?

Craobh conceded to Finians this morning

We “drew” with Vincent’s this morning. We had a goal given as a point in the first half. I know it’s junior hurling and maybe it’s hard to get refs week in week out but throwing someone in that can’t physically keep up with simple things like goals and points in a game is ridiculous. Into a relegation battle for the last 2 games now. Can’t blame all that on today’s ref but still very frustrating to out score the opposition and come away with a point a piece.

Congratulations Ger

Hurling is flourishing in North Dublin. Did the Fingal team have an impact on this success? How long ago was the team disbanded?

It has been disbanded about 7/8yrs now.

It definitely kickstarted a Hurling revival at club level, in Skerries case there are good GAA men there that didn’t want to be known as a single code club and a lot of the lads go to same schools as Maurs lads so saw what Maurs accomplished and were driven by that too.
