Clontarf putting a third team in for tge crack
Started social hurling in the club 2 years ago as we
Parents coaching our underage that never hurled
And to encourage past hurlers to return
The average age of the clontarf team must be 40
Have 3 lads in there 50s
When i joined clontarf 7 years ago they only had 1 adult team in division 5
Now them have 3 teams in
Ahl3
Ahl 6
Ahl 9
Do any other clubs have social hurling ?
Great to see the hard work from a few die hard hurlers in the area paying off

Your minors have done well last year .
Remember the first time i played out there .
The ball wasnt thrown in and i got a rap in the ribs from a geese player
" welcome to the geese " he shouted at me .
Had a great tussle with him .

I suppose the Isles team in AHL 9 would be similar. A lot of lads 40 plus and an odd 50 plus thrown in. A good few first timers too
Most teams in this league are made up of old timers with a sprinkling of minors good to see fellas still at it into their autumn years🙂

Clontarf pushed on in second half with a strong wind
