At least a 4 point hammering!!!
I wonder what the team will be for this. There is still a heap of players we haven't seen yet this year, ones who I think people generally expected to see. Some are recuperating from injuries I know (but I don't know which ones).
Sean Treacy David Treacy Darragh O Connell Bill O Carroll (not involved maybe). Liam Rushe Conal Keaney (if involved). Cian O Sullivan. Eoghan Dunne Paul Winters Fiontan Mcgibb (seems to be just back) Cian Derwin Shane Barrett Fionn O RIain Broin Diarmuid O Floinn
And they are the ones who I think were generally expected to be getting game time
Apart from those, there are outliers that I personally thought might get a Walsh Cup game or so. Currie x1 or x2. Connor Burke. Eoghain Conroy AJ Murphy Darren Kelly Billy Ryan.
There may be different reasons for all or some of them, injury, studying, recuperating, But we are actually only four or five games away from championship, so it is going to get difficult to incorporate guys into the team as it goes on.
Kenny keeps mentioning that there are 5-6 lads who had corrective proceedures over the winter, so i am assuming by that he means.

(okay that's 7 but I think McGibb has been out a lot longer but thankfully seems to be back now).
After that, I think Keaney is being given time after Bodens run (Basquel is only just back in with the football so at Conal's age a longer break would make sense).
Bill O Carroll Cian O Sullivan Eoghan Dunne Conor Burke. Eoghain Conroy AJ Murphy Darren Kelly Currie 1
Just don't seem to be involved - rightly or wrongly.
Currie 2 Cian Derwin Billy Ryan
Not there yet - I'd say they have the touch/talent to make the grade but are being given time to make the jump to senior county. I know some people think we take too long and that limerick throw lads in but Cody definitely brings lads through more cautiously, it took an age for TJ Reid and Ritchie Hogan to break into the KK seniors.
I've a feeling a few of the Corrective Proceedure boys will be taking the year out
Forgive my ignorance (which is wide and varied 😀), do you mean guys that are having ops etc?
Kenny mentioned they should all be back in the next few weeks, starting this weekend?
That's if the game goes ahead with dennis the menace blowing in saturday.
Derwin got his senior debut when we were well short of players in walsh cup.
sorry - correction on that - that they should start to return this week, not all be back this week. Have you heard something BOTTLER or just get the feeling?

There are some players though who have either lost form, or aren’t being looked at. Either of which are concerning.
Three years ago Conroy was flying at u21 level and doing ok at senior. We have hardly seen him since.
Again three years ago the older Currie was the best player in an u21 team that lost to Kilkenny. He hasn’t been tried yet.
Conor Burke has been much discussed.
AJ Murphy was a very important part of a Dublin u21 team that were only a smidgin away from beating Galway in an AI semi. But he hasn’t been tried out yet.
Cian O Sullivan was an absolute star minor. He was tried too young but doesn’t seem involved now.
Maybe these lads aren’t up to it now, I haven’t seen enough of some of them to know. And injury did hold a couple of them back. But people refer often to the loss of our star young lads to football, but as equally important is just the loss of star young lads without any specific reason. We need to be bringing through a high proportion of our best young lads, and I think we actually do the opposite- we only get a low proportion of them.
Totally agree, Chris Bennett was a massive loss as well.
Couple of the ones you mention have had injuries hold them back alright, but i always thought it was a sound tactic to look at guys who are bang in form and that hasn't happened for some reason. Hope they have a good April and we have a rethink but suspect the panel wont change much now, but if Dillon is out we dont have an obvious pacey corner forward to take his place but there is one/two listed above.
Ou est le thread de la predictiones?
Conroy must not be interested in rejoining the panel. He has been Maurs main attacking threat for the past few years which saw them almost get promoted to Division 2 last season. The MOTM display against Cork in the League a few years ago seems like a lifetime ago now.
