Always a tricky tie above. Need to get back to playing the style that brought us so many scores in the Walsh cup. FF line barely got a ball inside in the first half v Waterford. A break then till the 26th so at least some of the Fitzgibbon lads can get a bit of a rest.
Does GAA site say it’s on BBC iPlayer … ?
BBC are showing some National League games this season on the iPlayer. Not sure if they’re allowed broadcast it in the Republic.
might have to dust off the trusty VPN
Careful with that - last time I tried it the VPN was detected and they were looking for a license number. Might have to go TOR or some other dark web route!
On gaa go as well if ya don’t get that working. 5euro.
need the VPN for GaaGo as well ey?
Chatting to a lad who I work with. He was playing for the Limerick footballers there the weekend.
Saying a tough place to play. Pitch not the greatest and narrow, also a gale blowing from one end to the other!
Was thinking of making the trip up but now with the gaa go option and the club finals on as well I’m thinking the TV option might win out!!
Just checked my GAAgo and Dubs game is available.
No
Sweet!
If the game isn’t live on RTE/TG4/SKY its always available to buy and watch
I thought that was just during covid lockdown / no one allowed at games.
Just looking at the website here, the ones that are unavailable are all the games that you’d expect to be live
Dublin v Mayo
Cork- Limerick
Whereas the below are available, so seems they’ve left it as it was
Dub- Antrim
Down-Roscommon
Colleges final is on at 1 on Beo Sport and dub v Antrim at 2 on GAAGo

Update from Mattie Kenny
Some updates from the Senior Hurling camp, but first on behalf of all the players and management, we just want to express our appreciation to the growing numbers of supporters coming out and getting behind the team every week.
Between Walsh Cup / Fitzgibbon and the start of the National Hurling League it has been a very busy few weeks for us and we are trying to manage the loading on the players and give everyone an opportunity to impress
With a such a busy schedule, we are always going to pick up knocks and we are currently rehabbing Alex Considine (Hand), Luke Walsh (Quad), Daire Gray (Hamstring), Sean Currie (Arm) & Ciaran Dowling (Hamstring) but we should have them back training in the next 10 days
Unfortunately, we have some long-term Injuries, and we are working with the following players to get them back on the pitch in the coming months, notable
Cian Boland - Serious Achilles Injury from Oliver Plunketts last championship game, we are aiming to get him back mid April for the start of the Leinster Championship
Cian O’ Sullivan – Suffered a serious Hamstring Injury down in the Walsh Cup Game against Offaly, he is out for 12 – 14 weeks, so again we are targeting him for the start of the Leinster Championship
Liam Rushe (Quad), Mark Schutte (Shoulder) and Shane Barrett (Back) they are all working on the Injury Rehab and are back doing light training and we are hoping to have them available and in full training in Mid / Late March.
Again, thanks for all your continued support and hopefully we will see some of ye up in Corrigan Park On Saturday
Regards
Mattie
Interesting- good to know Dowling is involved. he was one of the best forwards in SHC last year.
Was afraid cos hammer was a bad one, damnit, he was going really well 12-14 weeks is really long layoff. He’ll do well to be proper fit for the Leinster campagin.
So Sean Currie did have a knock, was surprised he wasn’t even on the bench, was wondering had he a knock as DCU didn’t start him either last week and it made zero sense.
Really the makings of a decent panel if we can get them all fit.
Decent update in fairness. Not to be expected but appreciated
Yea, good to know who’s on the panel or thereabouts
Great update, fair play to them. There is no harm in sharing these things instead of all the smoke and mirrors
