Fair play to NZ but surely one of their worst ever.
They did well to put themselves into a winning position and ended up losing. They are playing attacking cricket which is great to watch.
This time last year they were suffering innings defeats and their batsmen were posting innings totals that would struggle to win T20 matches.
Delighted for NZ, though. Really punching above their weight with some players also out injured.
In another sign of how the game is changing, a much-changed England team begin a ODI series in Bangladesh tomorrow with a totally different squad of players.

Good contest in Chch currently, Sri Lanka the tourists. Blackcaps again have leading bowler injury problems. SL had the upper hand first innings but let it slip to the Blackcaps lower order.
But Blair Tickner, the moustacheoed mullet bowler who I slagged off recently has taken all 4 SL 2nd innings wickets so far. Southee seems to be rotating the bowlers better than his first few games as captain.
England, 1-0 down in a best-of-three T20 series away to Bangladesh only posted a score of 117 in their 20 overs. The Bengalis have made a solid start, 15-0 after two overs.
Ireland are in Bangladesh later this month for a T20 series and a ODI series, both best of three. That might give a picture of where weâre at.

Awful shame in Chch, too much play lost to rain to get a result bar a batting collapse. Much worse than that though, I was off & couldâve watched too!
