Dublin Junior A Hurling Championship (JHC A) 2017

Ballinteer St Johns B
Clanna Gael
Erins Isle
Faughs B
Lucan B
Finbarrs B
Plunketts B
Brigids B
Vincents C

3 Ahl 3 teams
3 Ahl 4 teams
5 Ahl 5 teams
1 Ahl 6 team

When are the draws usually made for the championships?

Which is the AHL 6 team? An AHL 6 team will struggle a lot in this Championship.

Finbarrs are in Ahl 6 according to the league tables

Is that Erins Isle 1st team??

It is

Anyone know when the fixtures will be released for these?

No league games between April 8th and May 20th so it will most likely start on April 22nd. Fixtures normally released around 2 weeks before hand.

The champinship itself looks wide open. With Marks getting Dotsy, Sean Mc Cann and John Kelly back they should be there or there abouts along with Commercials. Hard to judge this championship off league form as a lot of teams will have players from their first teams who are eligible for championship so that could suit Brigids, Plunketts, Bsj, Faughs and Lucan

Commercials and Isles drew in a bore fest

In what way? Low scoring or terrible level of hurling?

Both. Given it was a breezy night out there it was 0-12 each. Commercials only scored 3 from play and Isles had near 20 wides. No great degree of skill on show and no championship atmosphere

BSJ beat Finnians by about 5 or 6

Finbarrs drew with Clan.
Lucian hammered Faughs
Marks hammered Vinnies. Anyone know if Dotsy played and how did he get on if so? Is he an option for the Galway game

He did indeed play, back training fully with the Dubs and available for the Galway game
