Some big results on the opening round
Who are the main contenders for this?
Hard to say as teams are fairly evenly matched. Although that’s Sarsfields AHL7 team, I hear Peter Kelly is lining out with them…looks like they’ll be contenders. Boden also seem to be carrying momentum from their league win.
Finbarrs and Jude’s draw game
Boden beat croabh by 8
Whitehall beat castleknock by 4 I think
Any result with finians and na fianna?
2.16 to 1.12 to Finians
What’s the age profile in the st Finians team? Many minors/young lads?
I’d imagine Senan Crosbie is on it. Good hurler.
I can confirm, he is a brilliant young player, freakishly athletic. The young lad played against him when he was u16 and was unreal. I can see him being a future Dublin senior hurler if he keeps this up, he is similar to Kyle Hayes in a way
He done some brilliant things in last years minor hurling championship. Strong in the air and incredibly quick.
Having only been promoted winning Junior C last year Whitehall’s seconds have started brilliantly in Junior B hurling winning their opening three ties.

Ballyboden 4 (but probably their 3rd team after the walkover at intermediate) win well over Whitehall 2’s

Not one player from the 3rd team panel togged for the jun b team today.
So the 3rd team were all just away for the weekend then hence the walkover at Intermediate?
Yep. Bodens inter team had 7/8 available yesterday. Agreed with Fingallians and ref to play midweek. County board declined.
