We will only have some idea of who is involved when squad for Meath game is named next weekā€¦

Kildare ladies panel was named in full just yesterday but no fear that might happen with the Dubs.

Would love to see HH give football a go as she would be more than capable of the challenge. Has served the Dubs Camogie well and with new management in there it may be the time for her to give Football a crack.

Wouldnā€™t be surprised if she was called up to replace the players undecided. Good player. But Dublin donā€™t usually announce their squad like other counties before the season until first game. And even at that, tends to be a couple changes from league to champo.

Cork will be in a lot of bother this year I think. Thereā€™s a couple of retirements and a few have steeped away. I know they havnt been at the level they were a few years ago but seems a few names have dropped off.

Minors were very good, but may go camogie.

Iā€™d wait till the Dublin setup is seen before saying cork is in trouble . Some of the names Iā€™ve seen have shocked me .
Plus one is transferring from Leitrim Iā€™m told !

So far cork have lost Finn and martina o brien to retirement and eimear scally and aine o Sullivan stepping away. I think Both will be in very similar situations with a ā€œtransitioningā€ period to be honest. When you think of the players that have gone for Dublin in the last few, thereā€™s some big shoes to fill.

Galway will be the team to beat this year. A lot of other counties Dublin included in serious transition. Meath also wonā€™t be as formidable this year.

Some absences from last years starters like Niamh Collins, Ahern, Hedgo, Kate Sullivan, Lauren Magee Aoife Kane and Kate McDaid. In fact no Crokes players at all on the panel. The Leitrim player is starting also. I wonder have the above players gone, injured or away for the moment?

Crokes players i would imagine got an extended break after club run. Would expect them back, Kate Sullivan is there on the bench alright
