It’s Senior 1 and 2 now not A & B for the record. Group 1 is very open. Would not be shocked to see Barrog make the quarterfinals.
On paper group 3 is probably the toughest. Group 2 also pretty strong.
Very good draw there, a lot of well balanced groups,
Group 1 - is very open, depending on the Archer situation, Maurs would fancy themselves to go through. I’ll say Maurs & Annes
Group 2 - will have some good games as well, would fancy Plunketts to top the group and I’ll tip Lusk to sneak past Olafs into second
Group 3 - looks the hardest group, would have Clontarf as group favourites and second place is a toss of a coin, think Boughal might just scrape it but certainly wouldn’t be putting any money on it.
Group 4 - Think Brigids and Pats will go through here in first and second respectively. Will be a good game between them both as well. A good test for Pats to see how far along they are.

Lusk have played all 3 teams in their group in championship in recent years. Beat Olafs in the group phase of Senior 2 champo in 2019, and beat Marys in the 1/4 final same year. Beat OPER in their group in Senior 1 champo in 2021 (their only win in 2 years in Senior 1 champo).
Three repeat performances in this year’s competition would be most welcome!

Groups 2 and 3 look particularly strong here. I’m guessing it will be a much stronger Mearnog team that finished the league. Group 4 looks tricky too, isles seem to always up a gear in championship. Brigids didn’t do as well as I expected back down in afl 2 this year. Group 1 the clear weakest group here with how Maurs have fallen off. Would fancy barrog to win that group. As for group 2, you wouldn’t be surprised with any of those teams qualifying, if fancy Olaf’s though as they’ve played the tougher competition all year. Clontarf be the team to beat you’d imagine.

I’d say Fins are 20/1 because the huge favourite clontarf are in their group. Maurs 9/1, barrog 25/1 but barrog are favourite to win that game tomorrow.

Did Barrog look good in AFL3? If so should take care of Maurs handy enough
Barrog could be dark horses to take a few scalps alright! Hard to look past Clontarf, but the time of the year will throw up a few surprises.
Group 2 has two potential overall winners in it in Lusk and Plunketts
Pats D, Erins Isle, Ravens and Brigids would all have set their sights on a long run in this Champo.
This is probably one of the most open championships across the board

Bound to have a draw in there somewhere but I can’t pick it from this set of games.
Not very familiar with St Annes and if they can avoid the bottom of the group. Maybe @Clubber has a bit more info on them but I’ve gone with RT Clondalkin being a division higher.
