Dublin Senior Hurling 2023

Does Donal Burke have any younger brothers?

Conor Burke played minor(wing forward) and u21. Normally very stylish on the ball with a good touch. He was well off the pace last Sunday I thought…lots of uncharacteristic handling errors and poor first touches

They were all victims of that. He wasn’t the worst at all. His overall skill levels are high for a Dublin hurler.

Skillful hurler alright. Lacks a yard of pace I think…like a few of our lads.

I thought he was poor enough on the ball, by his own standard last week, it stood out because normally he’s pretty good touch/passing. mind you i have only managed to watch it once.

And defensively he had a day to forget as well, guys seemed to breeze past (around) him, although he wasn’t alone in that respect either.

The problem with a defeat that comprehensive is that there are so many things to try and fix.

Imagine the shit show it would have ended up if Danny had of gotten one of the 2 reds he deserved

Doesn’t bear thinking about TBH.

Agreed. Looks frustrated maybe because he has lost the yard of pace. I wouldnt play him half forward again. Just stick him full forward or centre back. Him o Sullivan and Considine would be a handful. If we can get something out of him in either of these positions great.

I’d prefer full forward over centre back

I’d have him at 14 or 28. Any red cards, he’d be no 38.
