Dublin vs Limerick, NFL 2023, Sunday, February 5th, Gaelic Grounds, 3pm

What changes will be made?

Would like to see O’Gara start and get a good run, Basquel as well? He never goes that well in winter football but has to give him games and hopes he finally pins down a place. Jack flash as well and Mannion might be training with Crokes again …

A few bodies back would be good if they are fit. Paddy Small doesn’t play enough intercounty football, so if he is available he needs to be starting every league game, I’d get Maccer straight in too. Its probably our easiest or second easiest league game

Are kids free into this game? The Kildare game they were charging for a kids ticket, but I don’t see anything this time?

I get a real sense of excitement about this fixture …

You would expect to see a good few changes. The backs would likely be the same as there was a good few fringe players selected already but some changes in the forwards would be an option.

I don’t think I ever remember so little interest in a league game as this, 5 replies on Wednesday before the game, that bloody crokes replay thread has a lot to answer for!

You’d be hopeful the O Byrne cup team that played would turn these over, theres zero jeopardy and zero to be gained, definition of turn up and get the job done.

That team would probably lose I think .

May as well put Mc Eneaney in . Jack if he’s fit. POCB and a few others too

If there is any hope of the likes of POCB, O’Gara, McEneaney or Basquel making an impact in summer they should be playing this weekend and dominating.
If others such as Bugler, Jack Mc, P. Small and Mannion are fit/available they should be given game time to get up to speed.

Yea he can do with the game time, Mannion as well except for the crokes / glen / ref fiasco.

When was the last time the Dublin footballers played at the Gaelic Grounds?

2007 when Limerick were flying

You could put 100g on that damo and still make money

Does any county outside the top 12 really care about the league as in a competition to win now
