Naomh Barróg will host this years Dubs Stars matches in Páirc Bharróg from 12 noon (football) with the hurling starting at 13:30pm. The Dubs Stars teams are both very strong and the Dublin teams are expected to field strong teams as well. The all-conquering Dublin footballers are heading off on their winter cruise just after Christmas so they’ll be mad keen for a last match before a gruelling holiday.
Just a few points to note before you head over to the leafy glades of Kilbarrack;
- Entrance to the grounds will be via the two pedestrian gates shown on the map
- Admission is €10 for adults and free for U16s. There are no concessions at all.
- Please leave the car at home if at all possible. Howth Junction DART Station is just 200m away from Páirc Bharróg and the 17a terminates at PB. Other bus routes will leave you with a 10-15 minutes walk.
- There will be no public parking in the grounds, the small amount we have is reserved for players, backroom teams, officials, hangers-on and liggers.
We will have a great band playing in the bar directly after the hurling match; Celtic Storm are a trad/leppin’ around/fusion mix that always have the place rockin’.
This is a great way for kids to see their heroes up close and we look forward to seeing you all there.
Up the Dubs!
