Gallarus Oratory? I was driving around Kerry about 1985 and came across it. There was no Interpretive centre or anybody around, so I just went in and lay on the ground inside, probably had a smoke!

Car park in Belfast Castle.
A favourite place of mine. Used to have a brilliant restaurant.

I was in that restaurant once….the cellar I think you called it.
That was it.
Had many a Christmas do there.
& the wedding reception. The night we went to pay the deposit there was a bomb scare. Should have taken that as warning sign.

I was just about to say I wouldn’t fancy paying for a wedding there. I’d say it’s some venue.
I’ve never been inside the place other than having a tea in that underground cafe.
It’s a lovely venue.
It was less expensive than any of the hotels.
Owned by Belfast City Council.
