Harrington very pi77ed off with Stenson , basically said Stenson accepted the captaincy when he thought LIV would be a non runner but changed his mind when he realised the bucks to be made
This the same Stenson who has something like two top tens since 2020 has played twice at the weekend in the last year , big PR coup in getting the European captain, but they’re just getting another has been in truth

You’d take a football in a heartbeat Guy.

Alan in the one behind you with Davey Fitz and Michael D and Sabrina.

The Marco Simone golf club? Is that anything to Marco Simone who played for Milan and Monaco?

Congratulations to Tony Finau a player who’s ability never in question ,but his ability to hold his nerve has been raised , just gone and done back to back wins

Will he win again this season or will that be all Finau?

Luke Donald confirmed as Ryder Cup Captain

I thought he was confirmed last week.
I like Luke Donald, always came across as grounded. A more recent version of Berhard Langer.

Seems like woods turned down 800 million for the LIV tour

Norman has confirmed the figure , it’s beyond astronomical, now Woods is not short of a few bob , but then again are Johnson n Bubba ?
FairPlay he’s always talked a good game when spouting legacy etc he’s backed it up with actions

So law suits filed by Mickleson Poulter and BDC among others , independent contractors restraint of trade etc
Not a legal mind but it reeks of the Brit’s crying over privileges being removed from them upon exiting the EU , like they’d get their passport back and nothing would change

Hard to see them not succeeding imo.

I honestly haven’t a clue , both sides have big money to back their case
I know one of the byelaws when accepting membership to the PGA Tour is to act in its best interests ? Secondly you require permission to play on another Tour even for just one event ( are agreements in place for European Tour etc)

On the other hand the LIV crew are sticking to independent contractors , self employed and the US Tour is restricting their ability to trade

I know who I feel I hope wins this battle , but bottom line is some law firms somewhere Christmas just came early

On the Golf side of things there’s very few I know could tell you who won the recent LIV tour played on Trumps course , I just googled it Brandon Grace
The attendance figures for the tournament so poor figures are not being released

The admission price was $1 and they still didn’t fill out.

But I bet $1 that the doonbeg effort next year will sell out. Literally.
