Didnât see any of Leonas round , had to be hitting it pure no bogeys and -9 golfers are mad how it can click and look simple one day ,
Rory Seamus in contention equally , hopefully they all give it a rattle
I remember growing up and Irish golf lived off stories of â â â senior a few decent wins from â â â Junior , Smyth ,Darcy and Rafferty , different ball game now

think it did , 2 million winners check im sure is what L Ko recieved
Just checked there, I think it has the highest winnerâs cheque but 2nd highest overall purse.

Great effort by Leona Maguire losing out by two shots in the end ,finishing fourth, only caught bits and pieces of the tournament , from what I did catch Leona will possibly feel this is one that got away
The field was probably somewhat stronger than I first thought. I hear she is now Europeâs highest ranked ladies golfer. Is that true?

There must be something in the DNA of Korean women, though, when it comes to golf. Australian Minjee Lee was born to Korean parents and Lydia Ko (NZ) was born in Korea, moving to NZ when she was four (all according to Wiki).

Just hearing of the passing of Barry Lane at the age of 62 , a good player , Ryder cup player , five time winner on European Tour , wouldbe considered a gentleman on the Tour very well liked
