If you consider the number of miles driven by males, it puts stats in perspective. Most bus drivers, taxi drivers, lorry drivers, chauffers, van drivers, mini-bus drivers, delivery drivers etc are male. Far more miles are driven by men. Women, therefore, ‘have less crashes’. Amazing! Who knew!!

The meeting today was about women’s rights but as usual the newspaper headlines make it out to be something else. Women came together to discuss their concerns about the erasure of women’s rights and the threat to our safety in same sex places . The meeting wasn’t about trans rights although they apparently now believe that every meeting and discussion should be about them. A mix of others came together to shout women down, bang drums, blow whistles and disrupt the meeting.
