What’s the story in the Blackpool, Tayto? The Glin relegated from the Premier Hurling Championship.
In a tricky group with Midleton, Blackrock and Bishopstown, and ended without a win and with a -22 score difference, then lost the relegation play off to Kanturk, some fall from grace for a team that were runners up in 2019, 2020 and 2021
There seems to be a power shift going on, The whole time I was in Cork City our local club the Barrs were well off the pace but they won it last year. Not surprising really as all over togher there were kinds in barrs jerseys and loads of kid carrying hurleys day to day.

I’m going to guess before looking it up that it’s one of the big three city clubs (barrs, rockies, Glen Rovers) … maybe Blackrock?

Slaughtneil captured their 11th straight Derry Senior Hurling Championship defeating Kevin Lynch’s 3-23 - 1-9 on Sunday in Owebeg. Captain Brendan Rogers ended with a hat-trick (3-2) and Cormac O’Doherty added another 0-8 mostly from frees. Chrissy McKaigue was missing
due to injury.
