Mods please remove if this isn’t appropriate but I wanted to share this fundraiser for a family who have suffered an unimaginable tragedy in the last few weeks.
Barry Walsh our leading marksman for our minor hurlers this year and his family lost their home and belongings in a house fire. On the back of that the tragic loss of their father. Barry scored 9 points in the Munster hurling final against Clare, 4 from play only days after his fathers funeral. A family steeped in GAA. Please god the years ahead will be kind to him and his family.
I don’t know them personally but it’s hard not to be moved when you hear about their story. I’m sure any donations or shares would be massively appreciated by the family and all in Killeagh GAA.
