Jimmy Gray was an absolute gentleman. Everyone with any interest in Dublin GAA has Jimmy to thank for the last 49 years of where Dublin GAA is now at the top of the pile. It was he who dragged Dublin GAA from nothing to the great days of the 70s and since by appointing Heffo and giving him his head in running the football team his way rather than with the old fashioned selection committee.

RIP Jimmy

“He also manged the Dublin senior hurlers from 1993 until 1996.”

Wdnt you think they’d proof read these things.

RIP absolute legend Jimmy Grey, a huge part of what has made Dublin GAA what it is, and never a more understated one.

RIP Paul O’Grady, brilliant and a lovely person it seems.

Me too , a time of Dave Boy Green , Conteh etc
I find boxing weird , I normally never get behind an English man in any sport , but over the years found time to route for a few English boxers
Then of course you get some of the more recent and I want see them on their arse

Terry Marsh, for sure. I really do hope it was him who bumped into Wank Frarren one night, long ago.

A photo that captured a special and seldom moment of joy for Dublin SH.
Lucky indeed are those of us who were present on that day 10 years ago.
