This has been my thoughts on EVs for a while. I am all for moving away from combustion engines but not at the continued expense that the replacements have. Still need to continue to dig natural resources. It is just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
I think Hydrogen is the best way forward

And the resources still have to be mined to build hydrogen capable power plants.
It’s not a valid argument against EV’s in my view. I think the far bigger issue is a government providing grant’s for EV’s when the majority of electricity is still produced by non renewable. That’s nothing more than a fudge.

Apart from the fact that Foley is a joke and the DES is using the AI issue to run for cover, the days of projects etc as part of second-level or college courses, may be over or at least curtailed.
