The Players In Orange? (UEFA Nations League/European Championships/World Cup) (Part 2)

:crossed_fingers:

Not in favour of the 48 team WC but glad they’re doing it this way rather than 16 3 team groups. Was only leaving it open to another “Disgrace of Gijon”

Bad and all as that game was Ireland were involved in 2 worse games. Egypt & Holland

Always thought The Disgrace of Díjon was a renaissance painting.
Ireland Vs Egypt would be a sad trad musical air now known as The Humours of Palermo.

The Dutch game wasn’t nearly as bad though, the original boys in orange did really try to win it

We re not going to beat France anyway but SK picks O Dowda , omits Manning playing well for Swansea every week. Jamie McGrath could nt get a game for Wigan one of the worse teams in the championship. McClean almost at 100 caps . Admire the lad’s commitment but in another era he possibly would nt get 10 caps .

No Daryl Hogan or CJ Hamilton :scream::scream:

I m surprised tbh.

Every time I see O’Dowda play I feel a bit pissed off that I was never capped.

Will Keane the difference though

Does this thread title need to be changed to “The Group In Orange”, or “Everybody Involved In The Project For The Team Wearing Non-Offensive Colours”, for the sake of inclusivity?

Think Kenny has been well found out at this point that he’s not up to managing at this level. Players not up to it but Kenny is a spoofer, and not a very good one at that!

Heard a radio station yesterday saying Andy Lyons should be in the squad. 100 games Bohs/Rovers not a word 9 games for a team bottom of championship and they’re calling for him to be in the squad.

No Troy or Heffernan :smiling_face_with_tear:

I don’t think he will keep his job if this campaign is completely tanked. There is a decent team en route and they will need a competent manager.

The next manager will reap the benefits of Kenny blooding ao many young players. Trapp, O’Neill and McCarthy(second term)didn’t introduce many young players.

To be fair to McCarthy because of the insane contract given to SK he wasn’t in a position to introduce young players, He had an end date with zero hope of it been extended as SK had an exact starting date which was unprecedented in world football

Did you not think he had done trojan work?
