U21 Club Hurling 2018

U21 hurling fixed for Sat 27th, football scheduled for Sat 3rd Nov. draws havnt taken place yet.

Weekend 27/28th October - Please note that this is a normal playing weekend as per our Fixture Calendar. League and Championship games will be scheduled as required. Under 21 Hurling Championships commence on October 27th, Football commences on November 3rd.

Bank holiday weekend may cause some issues for some clubs. Minor hurling quarter finals for B\C\D fixed for that weekend too, not sure about A semi finals. Might take numbers away for some clubs too. Tough time of year to be fielding teams especially when its play or concede. We had to pull a 21s team last year because our first team had a Leinster fixture at the same time

Looking like a few junior hurling leagues playoffs on the Sunday too!! At 21 level now you are at a disadvantage if your progressing in other competitions.

When are the fixtures due out?

Who will be the favourites for the A championship?

Na Fianna based on minor success?? Or Crokes.

I assumed Na Fianna alright. Usually some very good games in this competition as young lads play with their mates for the last few times in many cases.

Fixtures will surely be sent out to the clubs in the morning . Going to be a few clashes with all the football finals on the bank hol weekend also…

**Td play the winners of ballinteer syls

They have destroyed this competition.

Do the fixtures get pushed back with Ballyboden and Kilmacud in the final?

No all go ahead, play or concede with No 7 day rule. Even if two clubs are in agreement, daft really.

St Catherines conceded already in the c championship.

who are st catherines?

Brigids have 2 under 21 teams!

They ll be doing well to field two teams with their minors still involved in the champo!! few clubs will be struggling this weekend without minors and some senior teams in playoff /relegation finals or county finals.

St Catherine’s are a club in Lucan as far as I’m aware.

Isles conceded in the C. Too many players away and minors playing championship Sunday morning.

St Catherines are a mixture of Erin go Breagh and Westmanstown Gaels I think
