I always found it interesting that UFO activity seemed concentrated around or near US military bases…a handy cover when your developing new secret technology.

Yanks have as many military bases & installations as we do pubs. Good trick would be to fly a balloon across the American heartland & not pass over something interesting to the Chinese. As yer man James Joyce was wont to say.
