If Cuala win Leinster we’re going to be down a lot of players.

A couple could be on collage teams

I’d say we will struggle to beat Carlow with college teams and a cuala win.

I still want Cuala to win because long-term it’s good for the county.

2017 is likely to be a non-event at county level

Without meaning to put any of the players involved down, I’m lookin at it as a development year at this stage, hopefully some of the younger lads can really grow into senior level and a few more find their feet.

Wexford away on the 21st looks a very tricky one.

That’s all it is . Hopefully likes of Donal Burke , Smyth, Conroy get blooded. Unlikely to be pretty though

yea, bennett as well and that younglad from crokes Whitley. Barrett, Crummy, O’Donnell and O’Callaghan need to kick on. O’Rorke has to get a run at this stage. Remember how long it took for the last team to get over wexford, all those close calls, we’re probably going back to that stage now, building again.

13/14 of that panel will be tied with college. Along with our own players if we progress they will be a mighty chunk.

Did Dotsy not go back to Marks?

Transfer window opens next week so if he’s returning to Marks it will be then .

Thought he went back last year. Didn’t think he played with BB this year

Yea, it’ll be a mess if youse win but as bart says a leinster club title would be a huge bonus for dublin hurling so here’s hoping you can do it.

just looking at the training panel and breaking down the lines - some good players in there but very inexperienced all round, particularly the modfield.

There is some suggestion now that some of the above are no longer a part of the panel.Possibly as many as ten although no names were mentioned. More players have been called in.

:fearful:

Wow! Any explanations? Were they canvassed/ sounded out before being named? Has there been squad activity that turned them off?

Why?

I don’t really know. Just that more players have been called in and that some remain uncommitted. Others hav refused the call up. A sense of futility, that it’ll be a waste of time for the effort put in and that some players do not believe in the system they are being asked to play are all things I have heard from people who would be in the know.
